General Information

The cost of the treatment varies according to the type of treatment chosen, the area and objectives of the treatment and the individual characteristics of each patient.

Below are some general guidelines to use when trying to understand the costs involved. Your cost will be clearly explained to you before any treatment begins.

All costs associated with your treatment can be paid by Visa, Mastercard, Debit or cash and do not include any applicable taxes. We do not accept personal cheques.

Some treatments may be a tax deductible medical expense if you suffer from headaches, neck, back and/or muscular pain, or excessive sweating so save your receipts! Very often Botox® / Dysport® treatments for these types of symptoms are covered by third party health insurance (i.e. Blue Cross, Employee Health Plans etc.) so you may wish to investigate this with your insurance company.

Be sure to let us know about any headache, neck, back and/or muscular pain, or excessive sweating problems you experience in your consultation medical history (see "ongoing medical problems" on the Request an Appointment page of the website).

During your consultation, Dr. Waldron will review in detail with you all aspects of the cost.

Consultation Fee Credited Towards Treatment

Your $95 consultation fee is credited towards your first treatment, provided it is done within 30 days of your consultation appointment, and is due when you book your consultation appointment.

Typical Botox® / Dysport® Treatment Costs

(Note that even though the ratio of Botox® / Dysport® units is 1:3 both end up being the same amount of actual volume – i.e. 0.3 ml per area treated. All Botox ®/ Dysport ® costs are for the minimum amount of Botox ®/ Dysport ® that is often required. Some individuals may require more than the minimum amount. This is particularly true for males who will often require twice as much Botox ®/ Dysport ® as the minimum amount that the costs below are based upon.)

The cost for treatment of the Glabellar (frown lines between the eyes), Forehead and "Crows Feet" (the small lines around the sides of the eyes) areas is all the same at $275 per area (This is based on 25 units of Botox).

We use a sliding scale for Botox ®/ Dysport ® costs (see below) so that if you get more than one area done your per-unit cost is lower. Here is how it works:

Treatment costs for Headaches, Neck, Back and/or Muscular pain vary considerably from one person to the next, and are often covered by insurance, but range between $750 and $3500.

For Axilliary Hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating of the armpits), the physician injection fee is $380. For other areas it is higher. The cost of the Botox® / Dysport® is generally covered by most insurance plans.

How much do "Dermal Fillers" Cost?

The cost for Restylane® is all the same and is based on 1 ml units. Some syringes will have 1 ml in them and others will have 2 mls – but the costs below are per 1 ml. To see examples of what kind of results are possible and how many mls of filler are required see the Restylane® page. Remember that while 5 mls may sound like a lot it is only one teaspoon. 15 mls is only one tablespoon.

The cost of the treatment varies according to the type of treatment chosen, the area and objectives of the treatment and the individual characteristics of each patient. The $95 cost of your consultation is credited toward the cost of your first treatment, provided it is done within 30 days of your consultation appointment.Generally there are two "levels" of cost associated with Dermal fillers. To get a noticeable effect most people will require between 2-4 mls of Dermal Fillers. To achieve a more significant effect or "mini lift" usually will require between 4 and 8 mls. Here are some examples of what is usually needed to treat some areas:

  • Volume Replacement of the Cheeks will usually require 2-4 mls.
  • Treatment of the Chin Area will usually require 2-4 mls.
  • Treatment of the nasolabial folds (nose - mouth folds) would usually require 2-4 mls.
  • Treatment of the area near the corners of the mouth will usually require 2-4 mls.
  • Lip enhancement will usually require 1-2 mls.
  • Volume replacement along the jaw line will usually require 2-4 mls.

Treatment costs can vary considerably from person to person depending upon what you are looking for and the extent of the correction required. The above are examples for illustrative purposes only. As some of the syringes come in 2 ml volumes there is a cost savings reflected below if you decide to go with 2 ml increments as opposed to 1 ml increments.

We use a sliding scale for Restylane® costs (see below) so that if you get more than one area done, your per-ml cost is lower. Here is how it works:

Payment Policies

If your appointment is a consultation only appointment then the initial appointment consultation fee ($95) MUST be paid prior to your appointment. In order to confirm your appointment, you MUST prepay the $95 consultation fee within 48 hours of it being booked. Your consultation appointment is not confirmed until this is done and failure to do so will result in your appointment being made available to others. If you decide to have a treatment done the $95 consultation fee will be deducted from the cost of your first treatment, provided it is done within 30 days of your consultation appointment.

If your appointment is for both a consultation and treatment at the same time then you must prepay a deposit of $350 towards the cost of the treatment. Your consultation and treatment appointment is not confirmed until this is done and failure to do so within 48 hours of it being booked will result in your appointment being made available to others.

The simplest way to prepay and confirm your appointment is to call in a Visa or MasterCard - leaving your name, card type, number and expiry date. (Please note that Dr. Waldron is the only one who has access to our voice mail messages). At this point a “hold” will be put on your credit card for $350 (if you have booked a treatment). The hold will only be processed if you do not show up or do not give 24 hours notice. If you wish to pay cash to take advantage of the 5% savings you may still do so at the time of your treatment.

Be sure to give at least 24 hours notice to make any changes to your appointment. You may do this by leaving a phone message at our office - 613-532-0900. The system is active 24 hours a day and provides a date / time stamp. You may also contact us by email - just press the button below.

Remember that there is no refund for treatment appointment cancellations, no shows or failure to provide 24 hours notice of appointment changes and that your credit card will be charged $350 in these cases.
