Cosmetic Treatments

The Kingston and Ottawa Cosmetic Institutes offer a wide range of non-surgical cosmetic treatments with specialization in Botox®, Dysport® and Dermal Filler injectable treatments such as Juvederm® and Restylane®. These treatments can make a remarkable difference in your appearance, are very easy to undergo and start as low as $250. Non-Cosmetic Treatments

In addition to cosmetic treatments, the Kingston and Ottawa Cosmetic Institutes offer many non-cosmetic procedures as well. Examples include the use of Botox® and Dysport® for chronic neck, back and/or muscular pain, headaches and excessive perspiration. Cosmetic Treatments

Botox®& Dysport®

Many wrinkles are actually creases that have been worn into the skin by making the same expression thousands of times. These are called "expression lines" or “dynamic wrinkles”. Typical dynamic wrinkles include “frown lines” between the eyebrows, “crow’s feet” around the eyes, and forehead lines. The presence of these wrinkles can add years to our appearance, often making us look angry, tired or worried when we are not.

Dermal Fillers - Juvederm®/ Restylane®

The resilience and youthful contours of your skin, its ability to counter the effects of time, wind and weather, owes much to hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid also plays an important role giving volume to the skin, shape to the eyes and elasticity to the joints. Hyaluronic acid is found naturally in your skin and other tissues. Hyaluronic acid has a chemical structure similar in some ways to sugar, and is identical in all species and in all tissue types. Restylane® is made from NASHA gel (Non-Animal Stabilized Hyaluronic Acid).

Chronic Pain

Formal studies of patients with chronic neck, back and/or muscular pain have confirmed that Botox®/Dysport® treatments often reduce the frequency and intensity of such pain.

When Botox/Dysport® is used to treat chronic neck, back and/or muscular pain the cost of the medication and treatment may be reimbursable.

Headaches

Formal studies of patients with headaches have confirmed that Botox®/Dysport® treatment often reduces the frequency and intensity of both muscle tension headaches and also some migraine headaches.

When Botox®/Dysport® are used to treat headaches the cost of the medication and treatment may be partially reimbursable.

Excessive Sweating

Botox®/Dysport® is also used to control excessive sweating of the armpits and palms, and occasionally other parts of the body. About one person in 100 has a serious problem with excessive sweating in these areas.

When Botox®/Dysport® is used to treat excessive sweating the cost of the medication and treatment may be partially reimbursable.
